چکیده
Platelets are small circulating anucleated cells, resulting from the fragmentation of megakaryocytes. They directly involved in primary hemostasis, where they among first elements to intervene stopping bleeding. Platelet count or functional alteration was reported be correlated different types diseases. Since antiquity, plants have been used cure panoply Nigella sativa, black cumin, is an annual Mediterranean plant. sativa's main essential oil constituent, thymoquinone (30 %-48 %) responsible for a number its biological activity. Various drugs and plant substances can induce thrombocytopenia. Some studies describe dose time-dependent decrease platelet induced by consumption these substances. Thymoquinone quinine-like compound; quinines drug-induced immune Indeed, human rat administration seed 4 12 w, respectively, To date, effect on platelets not fully understood. Here we bring new effects aggregation. Our results show that itself able aggregation, but needs relatively long exposure (28 min). We also thymoquinone-induced aggregation probably mediated through cytochrome metabolites mainly via mitochondrial pathway. Results demonstrate pre-incubation with abrogate thrombin-induced concentration-dependent manner. In conclusion, seeds as nutritional complement alternative medicine should low concentration under phyto-specialists medical supervision.

Expression of cytochrome P450 and glutathione S-transferase in human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells
Currently several studies are being carried out on various properties of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs)however there are a few investigations about drug metabolizing properties of these cells. The aim of thisstudy was to measure the key factors involved in drug metabolism in human bone marrow MSCs. For thispurpose, cellular glutathione (GSH), glutathione Stransferase (GSTs) and...
متن کاملMitochondria-targeted cytochrome P450 2E1 induces oxidative damage and augments alcohol-mediated oxidative stress.
The ethanol-inducible cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) is also induced under different pathological and physiological conditions. Studies including ours have shown that CYP2E1 is bimodally targeted to both the endoplasmic reticulum (microsomes) (mc CYP2E1) and mitochondria (mt CYP2E1). In this study we investigated the role of mtCYP2E1 in ethanol-mediated oxidative stress in stable cell lines expre...
متن کاملTributyltin interacts with mitochondria and induces cytochrome c release.
Although triorganotins are potent inducers of apoptosis in various cell types, the critical targets of these compounds and the mechanisms by which they lead to cell death remain to be elucidated. There are two major pathways by which apoptotic cell death occurs: one is triggered by a cytokine mediator and the other is by a mitochondrion-dependent mechanism. To elucidate the mechanism of triorga...
متن کاملCharacterization of human cytochrome P450 enzymes.
Many biochemical approaches have been applied to the human cytochrome P450 enzymes, and more than 20 different gene products have been characterized with regard to their properties and catalytic specificities. The complement of the various cytochrome P450 enzymes in a given individual varies markedly, and dramatic differences may be seen in drug metabolism, pharmacological response, and suscept...
متن کاملElectron transfer in human cytochrome P450 reductase.
Cytochrome P450 reductase (CPR) is a diflavin enzyme responsible for electron donation to mammalian cytochrome P450 enzymes in the endoplasmic reticulum. Dissection of the enzyme into functional domains and studies by site-directed mutagenesis have enabled detailed characterization of the mechanism of electron transfer using stopped-flow and equilibrium-perturbation methods, and redox potentiom...
